ATC have had considerable involvement in large area display technology. In past projects, we have been involved in the design and installation of giant LED video walls.

These screens can be used for relaying live video of the action in a stadia, or pre-prepared advertising media.

ATC's partner, Tew Engineering Ltd, also specialises in large area video walls for installation in controlrooms, customer information displays and advertising screens.

Technology supplied for these applications includes:

• Plasma display panels
• LCD rear-projection cubes (built up into near-seamless video walls)
• CRT and LCD monitors in custom housings

ATC is activity supporting Tew in the determination of most applicable technology to use for a given environment. Not all technologies are capable of being visible is bright, sunlight areas. Using ATC's expertise in measuring light, we can objectively assess the most appropriate technology to use for given application, along with the measures needed to ensure that it offers maximum lifetime within the chosen environment.
